For The Drive custom single-family residence, Metro Contracting delivered comprehensive site development services including demolition, excavation and shoring, site servicing, and backfill. The project's steep slope presented significant planning challenges, requiring meticulous execution throughout. The elevated position and height of the existing structure, combined with the sloped terrain, demanded a controlled and methodical demolition approach to ensure safety. Deep excavation necessitated lockblock shoring installation along the front and both neighboring sides. Our team successfully implemented the shoring system while preserving essential working space and protecting adjacent properties throughout construction.
